Junior Ranger Guided Hike at Picacho Peak

Picacho Peak State Park

Twice monthly (November-March)   10 a.m.

Children sit in a sandy area listening to a park ranger speak.

Do you and your kids love being outside? Are you all fascinated with nature? Then join our rangers on a short hike in our park that is suitable for all ages! While hiking the Nature Trail, the group will fill out Junior Ranger packets that the ranger will go over during and after the hike. Afterwards, the Ranger will swear the group in as Junior Rangers, get their packets stamped, signed, and give them their official Junior Ranger badges!

While these hikes will not be strenuous, we still recommend bringing water and the appropriate footwear for hiking. Hikers will meet at Nature Loop trailhead at the Harrington Loop Parking Lot.

Call park to register at 520-466-3183 or register online here!

When registering, include only the total number of kids who will attend.
