Into the Snake Den
Picacho Peak State Park

Slither on up to meet some simply spectacular serpents and learn some neat facts about our scaly friends! From the stunning Kingsnake to the striking Rattlesnake, join our rangers at the Copper Court area for a 30-minute presentation about some of the Sonoran Desert snakes, the differences between venomous and non-venomous, and what to do if you meet these stealthy hunters of the desert.
Parking is available at Harrington Loop. The program lasts for approximately 45 minutes and will take place in the Copper Court Amphitheater.
Please bring some water and a hat; shade (like a sun umbrella) is also recommended.
