We are currently working to improve the infrastructure at the park. Construction will be ongoing for the next year, with minimal impacts on visitor areas. Please stay clear of construction zones.

Group Sites

Ramada Reservations

Reservations can be made up to one year in advance by calling the Visitor Center. Note: Day use areas may also be used on a first-come, first-served basis if not reserved by another group.

Cholla ramada: Four picnic tables and grills. Maximum of 40 people. Wheelchair accessible. Electric (lighting and 110 volt outlets). Close proximity to parking, restrooms, hiking trails, and playground. Use Fee $25.00 plus daily entrance fee. 

Ocotillo ramada: Four picnic tables and grills. Maximum of 40 people. Wheelchair accessible. Electric (lighting and 110 volt outlets). Close proximity to parking, restrooms, hiking trails, and playground. Use Fee $25.00  plus daily entrance fee.

Ironwood ramada: Four picnic tables, group grill, fire ring. Maximum capacity 30 people. Electric (lighting and 110 volt outlets). Close proximity to parking, restrooms, and hiking trails. Use Fee $25.00 plus daily entrance fee.

Mesquite Ramada: Four picnic tables, grills. Maximum capacity 30 people. Not wheelchair accessible. Electric (lighting and 110 volt outlets). Close proximity to parking, restrooms, and hiking trails. Use Fee $25.00 plus daily entrance fee.

Group Reservations: Camping

All group camping areas are available only by reservation. Group reservations can be made up to one year in advance. To make group reservations, call the park directly. Each site has a minimum vehicle requirement to be paid at the time of booking. Vehicle fees are $15.00/night. Up to 4 adults per vehicle. Cancellations must be made 60 days before arrival date to receive a refund.

Roadrunner Group Area: Tents only with 10 people minimum, maximum 20 people, and six units (vehicles) maximum.   • Minimum of 7 units (vehicles) required for camping, maximum 14 units per section
  • $25.00 use fee plus vehicle fees.
