A group of birders with binoculars at Catalina State Park

Located in the Tucson Sky Islands Important Bird Area, Catalina State Park is home to 150+ species of birds. Experienced birding guides will help you spot and identify beautiful birds as you walk through the park for 3-4 hours. Bring binoculars and a birding field guide to enhance your experience! Guides are sold in the gift shop. Meet at the Trailhead parking lot near the restrooms.

This event is part of Outdoors250, a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and Arizona’s natural heritage. By participating in this event, you can enter to win Outdoors250 prizes by signing up at AZStateParks.com/Outdoors250.
