Owl Walks at Catalina State Park

Catalina State Park

Monday, May 4 | Wednesday, May 13   7-9 p.m.

A juvenile owl fledging from a tree.

As darkness falls, owls take flight during the cool evening hours to hunt. On this walk learn about owls and hopefully see one in-person! Please bring a flashlight and consider downloading an app like Merlin to identify birds by sound. Meet at the Trailhead Picnic Area.

Limited to 20 people: Registration is required. Sign up at azstateparks.com/reserve/Activities/Search.aspx (filter activities by Place).

The program is free but park entry fees apply. Meet at the Trailhead Picnic Area.

This event is part of Outdoors250, a celebration of America’s 250th anniversary and Arizona’s natural heritage. By participating in this event, you can enter to win Outdoors250 prizes by signing up at AZStateParks.com/Outdoors250.
