Construction Advisory: Construction will be taking place in the main campground near both restroom/shower buildings Oct. 2024 - May 2025 to replace the lift stations at the restrooms. Be prepared for construction-related traffic and increased noise levels. Porta potties are available for toilets. Showers and sinks may be limited or closed at times due to maintenance issues. Water and electricity may be temporarily disrupted when switching over utilities for a few hours at a time.
Due to safety concerns, walk-in entry and hiker drop-off/pick-up is not permitted.
The dump station and showers are closed to anyone not camping at the park.
First Day Hike at Lost Dutchman

Step off the year on the right foot with our First Day Hike, welcome to all! Meet your guide at the Palo Verde Day Use Ramada! This hike is 1.6 miles and may take over one hour. Prepare for rocky terrain with slight elevation gain, a couple dips, and narrow sections. Bring your water, close-toed shoes, and layered clothing or jacket. No dogs or strollers please. This event is weather permitting.
Program is free and will be limited to 30 participants who will need to register online for the hike. A $10 day use per vehicle applies when you arrive at the park.
