Kartchner Caverns State Park

Saturday, March 21, 2026   10:30-11:30 a.m. | 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Join two of our esteemed volunteers for a whimsical informational session with a black vulture and a turkey vulture to find out how they are nature's sanitation department. There will be two sessions: one from 10:30-11:30 and 12:30-1:30. Meet in the Discovery Center theater for some vulture fun!

Standard park entrance fees apply unless you have a cave tour.

    Star Party at Kartchner Caverns

    Join Kartchner Caverns, an International Dark Sky Park, for a star party! This program offers daytime solar viewing, a presentation on protecting our dark skies as well as night sky viewing through high-powered telescopes.

    Bat Walk

    Kartchner Caverns invites you to join us for a nighttime walk in the park to learn about bats! Guests will see and hear bats interacting within their natural environment while learning about the diversity of these awesome flying mammals. Registration required.
