Camping Cabins
What do you do after an adventure in the world's best cave experience? That's easy...Explore the unique beauty of southern Arizona via Kartchner Caverns State Park, then stay the night in one of the camping cabins! Hike into the desert backcountry, photograph a variety of birds and wildlife, and then enjoy nearby attractions in Benson, Bisbee, Sierra Vista and Tombstone. The adventure potential is nearly endless...You bring the mindset, and we'll supply the peace of mind with our air-conditioned cabins.
Two-room camping cabins with a view of the Whetstone Mountains are available at Kartchner, right in the park. We're here to help you plan your visit to Kartchner Caverns seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arizona time.
Cabin Reservations at Kartchner Caverns
Experience all the fun of camping with a little more comfort and a lot less hassle with these convenient southern Arizona cabin rentals. Cabins at Kartchner Caverns State Park provide a perfect destination for families looking for a camping experience without the need for an RV or tent.
The cabins are located in the beautiful desert landscape of Kartchner Caverns State Park at the base of the Whetstone Mountains. They are close to hiking trails and just walking distance from the Discovery Center, and other park amenities. Cabins are $99 per night plus a $5 reservation fee. A refundable $50 cleaning deposit will be taken upon reservation. This cleaning deposit will be refunded if the cabin is returned in the condition in which it was reserved.

Cabin guests provide their own linens or sleeping bags and pillows. Cabin features include:
- Queen bed and two twin bunk beds (sleep a maximum of six people)
- Electricity and air-conditioning/heating
- Microwave and mini fridge
- Restrooms and showers are within walking distance
- Pets are allowed in cabins 3 and 4. There is a $10 fee for pets and a limit of two pets per cabin.
During your stay, make sure to take a cave tour and explore in the Discovery Center, or enjoy a hike on the park's easy to moderate trails.
Check-in time is 3 p.m. Arriving earlier than 3 p.m. does not guarantee the cabin’s availability. Check-out time is 10 a.m. on the scheduled departure date.
Visitors with cabin reservations arriving before 3 p.m. on the day of arrival will be charged the park entrance fee.
