Calling all citizen scientists! 📣 Join Kartchner Caverns State Park on November 22 as we partner with The Nature Conservancy of Arizona in BioBlitz event. Using iNaturalist, we will be collecting important ecological data regarding the San Pedro River Watershed.

A BioBlitz is a community-based event where participants record as many plant and animal species as possible. This effort will help us better understand the San Pedro River watershed throughout the month of November. Locals, visitors and nature enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to participate in the San Pedro River BioBlitz by using the free iNaturalist app to photograph and identify species across the watershed.

Standard park fees apply unless you have a cave tour or hold an Annual Arizona State Parks pass. Come take a cave tour (reservations recommended) and then take some pictures!
