Winter Solstice Night Hike
Catalina State Park
Saturday, December 21, 2025 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Celebrate the Winter Solstice and watch the stars sparkle over the Catalina Mountains on the longest night of the year from the Nature Trail (one-mile)! Learn about nocturnal animals and enjoy a constellation tour featuring a variety of cultures and astronomy facts. Please bring a flashlight and a jacket.
Caution: The hike begins and ends on a steep hill with slippery gravel. Meet at the Trailhead Picnic Area. Limited to 40 people (Age 5+): Registration Required.
