Parking is only allowed in designated parking spots. Please observe all rules distributed by rangers when entering the park. Use caution as flooding is possible.
Winter Solstice Night Hike
Catalina State Park
Saturday, December 21, 2024 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Celebrate the Winter Solstice and the longest night of the year with a guided night hike around the Nature Trail Loop (1.0-mile). You’ll learn about the cultural significance of the Winter Solstice, the desert’s nocturnal wildlife, and enjoy a tour of the constellations.
Meet at the Trailhead Picnic Area. No sign-up is required. Caution: The Nature Trail has a steep hill with slippery gravel. The program is no cost but standard park entry fees apply. Program is weather permitting.
