Native Plant Hike
Join an Arizona Native Plant Society guided tour through the upland desert plant community of the Canyon Loop Trail. The desert in winter is a great time to learn about the key desert plants, including trees, grasses, and cacti. In January we will see a surprising early surge of spring growth. Besides the plants, we will learn about geology and critters great and small.
Meet at the Main Trailhead Tile Mosaic Kiosk. Program is free but standard park entry fee applies or bring your Arizona State Parks annual pass. Event is weather permitting.
