Alamo Lake Camp and Ride

Camp at beautiful Alamo Lake State Park and enjoy two off-highway vehicle (OHV) group rides! 

Select one of two camping packages that include three nights of camping and two guided group rides: a rustic camping package or a 30/50 amp electric and water camping package. See the event schedule below.

Online registration is required at azstateparks.com/reserve/activities (search by Place for Alamo Lake State Park). Registration opens on September 9, 2026. Registration is for a single OHV only, with a maximum of 4 riders; complete additional registrations for each vehicle.

Each campsite permits 10 people maximum. OHV riders must be 8 years or older; drivers in the group ride must be 18 years or older.

Riders, we will stage at Alamo Lake State Park Group Use Area. Prepare for your ride:

  • BE PREPARED; this is a remote area
  • Services are not available; bring extra fuel and emergency supplies
  • All vehicles must be street legal, as we will be on county roads
  • Bring snacks, a lunch, and plenty of water
  • NO DRUGS OR ALCOHOL at this event
  • Eye protection is legally required for all riders
  • Helmets are required for all riders under the age of 18

Please note this event cancellation policy: if reservations are canceled before 2 p.m. the day prior to check-in, only the $20 cancellation fee and the $3.60 non-refundable reservation fee will be withheld from the original form of payment.

Friday, October 9, 2026

  • Group 1 Ride (8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.): Maggie’s Wash and McCrackin Cabin and Mine
  • Group 2 Ride (8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.): Mud Canyon and Tres Amigos waterfall
