Campsite reservations are available online or by calling our campground experts at the Arizona State Parks Reservations Desk (877) MY-PARKS. We're available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arizona time.

⚠️ Construction advisory: Please be aware that construction will be taking place in the campgrounds during intermittent periods in certain areas of the park. Information on dates and specific campgrounds will be posted as available. Be prepared for construction-related traffic, closures, increased noise levels, and possible limited access to the campground showers during this time. Thank you for your patience as we work to make Roper Lake State Park an even better destination for campers!

Hacienda Campground: 20 sites with water and electric (20/30 amp). Each site includes fire rings and picnic tables. Hacienda campground has a bathroom with hot showers near the entrance of the campground. Most sites will accommodate a vehicle length of up to 45 feet and are a mix of pull-through and back-in sites.

Cottonwood Campground: 25 sites with water and electric hookup sites (20/30/50 amp). Each site includes fire rings, picnic tables, and a small shade Ramada. Cottonwood campground has a bathroom with hot showers. Most sites will accommodate a vehicle length of up to 45 feet and are back-in only.

Gila Campground: The Gila campground offers eight cabins, five non-electric sites, and a 14 site group camp area. All non-electric sites include fire rings and picnic tables. Water is available at most sites.

RV Dump Station: The park has a sewage dump station located near the park entrance. The dump station is only available to registered campers.

There is a per-night fee for second vehicles. The fee will be paid upon arrival at the park. The fee does not apply to vehicles towed behind a primary vehicle (RV) when the RV remains at the site and the other is used for transportation.

Check-in time is 2 p.m. Arriving earlier than 2 p.m. does not guarantee the sites’ availability. Check-out time is 12 noon on the scheduled departure date.

Campers arriving before 12 noon on the day of arrival will be charged the park entrance fee.
