The restrooms in the Cottonwood campground are currently out of order. Campers can use either the showers in either the Gila or Hacienda Campground until repairs are completed.
ADOT is completing a pavement rehabilitation project on US 70 with a completion date of spring 2026. Stay up-to-date here. ADOT is also completing a pavement rehabilitation project on I-10 with completion expected by the end of 2026. Find updates on ADOT's website.
The new kayak launch at the East Mesa day-use area is closed until water levels increase and a final inspection can be completed.

Group Camping Sites
Group reservations can be made up to one year in advance. To make group reservations call the park directly at 928-428-6760.
Gila Loop Group Area Campground: 14 campsites with picnic tables and fire rings surrounding a large ramada with six picnic tables, BBQ grills, small sink/work area and group fire ring. Non-electric area, water and vault toilets are available, with access to restroom shower building. There is a 10-vehicle minimum to reserve the group area at $180.00 per night. Additional vehicles pay $15.00 per night fee. Reservations are taken no more than 12 months in advance. To make reservations, call the park directly at 928-428-6760.
