Join us for a hands-on photography experience at Oracle State Park, perfect for hikers and aspiring photographers! This guided event with Ranger Michael will teach you how to use your camera's manual settings while photographing plants and critters on the 1.2 mile Nature Trail. 

Event Schedule:

7:00–7:30 AM: Photography Introduction
Start your morning with a short photography lesson in the ranch house living room. Learn settings and techniques to capture great landscape and wildlife photos. 

7:30–9:00 AM: Photography Hike
Head out on the 1.2-mile Nature Trail for a guided photography hike. Practice your skills as we make stops along the trail to capture close-ups of plants, critters, and other vegetation. 

Event Details:

• The hike includes sandy areas, rocky paths, and elevation changes.
• This event is ideal for beginners learning manual camera settings, though experienced photographers and smartphone users are welcome.
• Please bring sturdy hiking shoes, your camera, and plenty of water.
