Cattail Cove State Park
Just upriver from Buckskin and River Island, Cattail Cove State Park rests comfortably in a beautiful cove on Lake Havasu. White sand beaches, emerald green water, and as much adventure or relaxation as you can handle! There are some great shady spots to lounge around, perhaps enjoying good conversation and your favorite beverage with someone close. If you’re into exploring, the trails along the lakeshore and into the surrounding desert will definitely keep you occupied! There are plenty of bass, bluegill, and catfish to be caught here, and wildlife like desert bighorn sheep are commonly seen from the park. Lake Havasu State Park
Lake Havasu State Park experiences fairly laid-back fall and winter seasons with plenty to do for all types of adventurers! This Colorado River park is one of the premier bass fisheries in the west for largemouth, smallmouth, and striped varieties. The white sand beaches are a great spot to relax and watch a double-sunset as bright orange hues reflect off the pristine lake. Plenty of room here for watersports of all kinds too! Plus...A great addition each year are the variety of bird species that winter at the lake. It’s an amazing sight to experience and birders from across the country flock here to take advantage of the temporary influx!
