Masks are required when visiting our ranger stations, restrooms, stores, or historic buildings. Please also wear a mask while recreating outside if social distancing cannot be maintained. We are currently improving our park for more recreation opportunities. Day use is limited to visitors launching boats.
RV and Tent Camping
Campsite reservations are available online or by calling our camping specialists at the Arizona State Parks Reservations Desk at 1-877-MY PARKS (697-2757). Give us a call seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arizona time. There is a $5 non-refundable reservation fee per reserved campsite.
There are 61 camping and RV sites. Maximum stay is two weeks. Maximum occupancy is a total of 10 individuals with a maximum of 6 adults per campsite. Maximum two (2) vehicles per campsite. Un-reserved sites are sold on a first come, first served basis. Saving sites is not allowed. Electric and water is available in all sites, and a picnic table and BBQ/fire pit are also available. Fires are allowed in the fire rings at each site all year, unless other fire restrictions are in effect.
57 sites offer 30 amp service. Four sites offer 50 amp service.
There is no Overflow camping at this time.
Note: From April 1 through Sept. 30, there is a two night minimum stay for weekend camping: you must reserve both Friday and Saturday night. For Memorial Day Weekend, Labor Day Weekend and Columbus Day Weekend, there is a three-night minimum stay for holiday weekend camping where you must reserve at least Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights for these weekends.
There is a $15.00 per night fee for second vehicles. The fee will be paid upon arrival at the park. The fee does not apply to vehicles towed behind a primary vehicle when the primary vehicle remains at the site and the towed vehicle is used for transportation.

BOAT-IN CAMPING SITES
Cattail Cove State Park has primitive boat-in camping sites with picnic tables, stand-up BBQ grills and access to pit toilets. There are waste bins, but please plan to pack out your trash. No fire pits or campfires year round. Propane stoves are acceptable. All boat-in camping sites are first come, first served.
Park your vehicle and boat trailer in the parking lot and pay for parking. Find an unoccupied boat-in camping site and pay for camping at the site using the "Iron Ranger." The maximum length of stay is 14 nights.
