Join us on February 14 for a special Friday Lunchtime Lecture celebrating Arizona Statehood.
Author Lisa Schnebly Heidinger and poet Julie Morrison will share their new travel-poetry-photography book “Arizona FriendTrips: Stories from the Road.”
These friends went to each of their favorite places and a few they’d not been to, ending in 38 selections from around the state. Northern locations include the chapel on the road to the Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon, Grand Canyon North and South Rims, three places in Dinétah, and more! This nontraditional guidebook will inspire you to explore quirky, diverse, and iconic Arizona.

Why is Milton Road called Milton Road? Because it linked Flagstaff with a neighboring small town called Milton. Milton's main street was Riordan Road. Historian and Riordan Mansion volunteer David Portree will share Milton's history and describe a plan to bring Milton back to life.
