Riordan Mansion State Historic Park Group Tours
Thank you considering bringing your group to Riordan Mansion State Historic Park. The following information will help you decide how we can accommodate your tour group. Reservations for groups can be taken as much as a year in advance.
Exploring the Visitor Center exhibits and the doing the Self-Guided Tour of the grounds is always free and available to do when the park is open.
Access to the inside of Riordan Mansion is by guided tour only. The tour takes about an hour and a full tour group is 15 people. With at least one week advance reservation two tour groups (30 people) can be scheduled in one hour. The groups start a few minutes apart and one group does the upstairs first while the other group does the downstairs first and then they switch.
Groups of up to 60 people can be accommodated with reservation at least two weeks in advance. Please plan to spend at least two hours. Your group will be divided into four smaller groups of 15. Two groups will tour one hour and two groups will tour the following hour. The groups waiting for their turn for the tour (or for second groups to return from their tour) can enjoy the Visitor Center, Gift Shop and the Self-Guided walk around the grounds. It may also be possible to have the waiting groups visit the West House Museum.
