Enjoy an afternoon of art and nature at Oracle State Park! On Saturday, October 24 from 3:00-5:00pm, several members of the Sonoran Plein Air Painters will be set up along the 1.2 mile Nature Trail loop, giving visitors the unique opportunity to hike, view paintings, and watch artists at work in the beauty of the park. Along the way, you'll also get great views of the Galiuro Mountains and oak grassland environment that Oracle is known for. As you are enjoying the artwork along the trail, please keep in mind that you will encounter some rocky terrain and elevation changes.

We are excited to be featuring the following talented artists: Perianne Grignon, Denyse Fenelon, Sue Robertson, Virginia Belser, Nora Chorover, Judy Johnson, Greg Wallace, and Helen Walthier.

When you arrive, we'll have maps showing where each artist will be stationed.

There is no additional fee for this event. Standard park admission applies: display your annual Arizona State Parks Pass upon arrival for free entry or purchase a day pass.

You won't want to miss this unique opportunity to experience art and nature at Oracle State Park! Hope to see you there.
