Summer Program: Cicada Hatch Party

Join Volunteer Abi for a Cicada Hatch Party! Show off your insect pride and dress up as your favorite insect. We will be learning about our favorite summer time screecher, the Apache cicada, and, hopefully, observing cicada nymphs hatching for the summer, as well as using a light trap to study other nighttime insects.
Please bring a flashlight and water and be prepared for nighttime June heat. Kids and dogs on leashes are welcome. This event will take place at the Palo Verde Ramada and will take roughly about an hour.
