Kartchner Caverns State Park welcomes City of Benson Summer Camp kids for a weekly educational series on pollinators.
This program is free to Benson area students. Sign up for individual days or all of them! Space is limited to 15 participants per day; register with the City of Benson's Recreation Department.
Tuesday, June 3 - What is "Pollination" and what are "Pollinators"? Look at the parts of flowers and do activities related to pollination and pollinators, including a fun pollinator craft!
Tuesday, June 10 - Why pollinators are important? We'll discuss why pollinators are important and what we can do to protect them.
Tuesday, June 17 - Planning a pollinator garden. Design a pollinator garden based on what you have learned, including all the parts necessary to attract as many pollinators as possible!
Tuesday, June 24 - A Pollinator Field Day. This will be a day of outside activities and games using pollinators as the main theme.
Meet at the Group Ramada at Kartchner Caverns State Park., 2980 Hwy 90 Benson, AZ Bring water, sunscreen, a hat, closed toed shoes, and comfortable clothes!

Kartchner Caverns invites you to join us for a nighttime walk in the park to learn about bats! Guests will see and hear bats interacting within their natural environment while learning about the diversity of these awesome flying mammals. Registration required.

Lint Camp
Get involved with conservation work at Kartchner Caverns with this public volunteer opportunity held four times annually. The program involves gently brushing lint off of curbs and rocks near the trail system.
