The park's restrooms are currently closed due to a construction project on the wastewater treatment facility. Porta-potties and handwashing stations are available in the meantime. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve the park experience for all our visitors.
No walk-ins, drop-offs or bicycle entries permitted: admission only by vehicle via the entry station.

Join Slide Rock State Park and the Northern Arizona University Astronomy Club for a night under the stars! Get a close-up view of celestial objects through high-powered telescopes and a tour of the constellations. Bring a jacket, chairs, blankets, and a red light or headlamp if you have one. The Slide Rock Market will be open, selling hot cocoa and coffee.
There is no charge for this astronomy program but standard park entry fees apply, or bring your Arizona State Parks and Trails annual pass. The event is weather permitting.

Apple Packing Shed Open House
Experience a piece of Arizona history. Get an opportunity to explore the Pendley Homestead Apple Packing Shed. A ranger will be available to answer any questions about the homestead history. Come and see the Bean Cutler 1933 Sorter and Bean Cutler Polisher added in 1946.
