Park entry and swim area close one hour prior to closing.
Apple picking is now closed for the season. Check back for apple picking in Fall 2026.
Pets are welcome in the picnic area and on the Clifftop Nature Trail from October through April. NO PETS are allowed at the swim area. Pets are not permitted in the park from May through September.
No walk-ins, drop-offs or bicycle entries permitted: admission only by vehicle via the entry station.
Reservations are not available. Park entry is first-come, first-served.
The park opens at 8 a.m. Lining up on the road prior to opening is not permitted due to the hazardous highway conditions it creates.

Experience a piece of Arizona history. Get an opportunity to explore the Pendley Homestead Apple Packing Shed. A ranger will be available to answer any questions about the homestead history. Come and see the Bean Cutler 1933 Sorter and Bean Cutler Polisher added in 1946.
