Open Studio with Clay Artist Chloe Foster
Oracle State Park
Sunday, April 27 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Join us for a special Open Studio with Oracle State Park’s Artist in Residence, Chloe Foster, a clay artist from Bisbee, Arizona. From 10am to noon, visitors are invited to meet Chloe, learn about her artistic process, view pieces being worked on, and maybe even get their hands on some clay!
Chloe’s work blends abstract sculpture with the ancient tradition of pinch pots, often using wild clay she harvests locally and firing it using traditional wood pit methods. As a ceramic studio technician and dedicated kiln-firer, Chloe is passionate about connecting her craft to place.
This is a drop-in event and open to all. If you can’t make it between 10:00 and noon, Chloe will still be on-site working throughout the afternoon, so you are welcome to stop by later on. Come connect with clay, creativity, and the desert!
Thank you to the Arizona Commission on the Arts and the Arizona Community Foundation for helping make this residency possible!
Free with park admission. No registration required. All ages welcome.
