RV and Tent Camping

Campsite reservations are available online or by calling our experts at the Arizona State Parks Reservation Center 1-877-MY PARKS (697-2757). Phone reservations are available seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Arizona time (Mountain Time). There is a $3.20 non-refundable reservation fee per site.

The park cannot accept mail for campers. Mail delivered to campers will be returned to sender.

The campgrounds at Alamo Lake State Park are spacious and designed to accommodate both RVs and tents, making them ideal for any type of camper. This remote and thrilling state park in western Arizona is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, with regionally renowned bass and crappie fishing, unforgettable OHV opportunities, and exceptional birding. The Sonoran Desert's unique beauty allows for three-season enjoyment, and at night, the clear and dark skies offer a breathtaking view of the Milky Way. Camping by the lake lets you fully immerse yourself in all the wonder this desert park has to offer. If you forget anything, the park store has you covered with the basics.

Alamo Lake Camping Reservations

Campground A offers 17 basic sites with both back-in and pull-through sites. These sites are currently $15 per night per vehicle.

Campground B has expanded to 42 mixed-amenity sites at $15 to $25 per night per vehicle depending on amenities.

Campground F has 15 full-hookup sites at $30 per night.

Campground C offers 40 water and electric sites at $25 per night.

Dry camping is located in Campgrounds D & E and each site has a picnic table and fire ring. The dry-camping fee is $15 a night per vehicle. There is a $15.00 per night fee for second vehicles. This fee can be paid with your online reservation or paid upon arrival at the park. Fee does not apply to vehicles towed behind a primary vehicle (RV) when the primary vehicle remains at the site and the tow is used for transportation.

Check-in time is 2 p.m. Arriving earlier than 2 p.m. does not guarantee the sites’ availability. Check-out time is 12 noon on the scheduled departure date.

Campers arriving before 12 noon on the day of arrival will be charged the park entrance fee.
