Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration
Tubac Presidio State Historic Park
Wednesday, July 4, 2018 10 a.m. to noon
Tubac Presidio State Historic Park will be the site of an Old-Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration, on Wednesday, July 4, 10 a.m. – Noon. Free hot dogs, nachos, watermelon and lemonade, and an assortment of activities for kids including hula hoops, bean bag and ball toss, coin guess, adobe brick making and face painting. The “squirt-down” courtesy of the Tubac Fire Department will be the cooling grand finale. This old-fashioned family celebration is organized by the Presidio with help from local non-profit organizations and private donors. Park admission is FREE during the event.
Ongoing Event: Children’s Garden
The children’s garden by the schoolhouse allows children of all ages to play hopscotch, marbles, and jump-rope the old-fashioned way.
