Red Rock State Park

For thousands of years, the red rock country of Sedona has been a destination for Native Americans. In fact, Most of the ancient features found in the park are from the Sinagua culture dating about 1100 to 1425 AD! Join us on an adventure back in time while learning the story of the pre-Columbian people who once lived and traveled in the area which is now Red Rock State Park! he hike will help visitors identify the various archaeological features while interpreting them into the wider context of important regional Sinagua sites. Please bring water and wear suitable footwear. The hike ascends about 250 feet while traversing relatively easy trails and is included with park entry fees.
