Explore Patagonia Lake State Park During the Annual Mariachi Festival!
May 13, 2018
PHOENIX –The annual Mariachi Festival at Patagonia Lake State Park is back this May 19! Bring your whole family for a full day of fun at the lake.
Not only does the event include a wide-variety of Southern Arizona Mariachi bands and dancers, but there will be authentic Mexican food, Sonoran dogs, kettle corn, Indian fry bread, shaved ice and cotton candy for the family, as well as a wine-tasting area for the adults. The park has a great beach with swimming area, fishing, boat launches and boat rentals, and plenty of campsites for tent or RV camping. Activities run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and the band Grupo Lynx will close the evening’s festivities.
The wine-tasting area will include a variety of special brews by local wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Visitors are invited to experience one of the hidden gems of Southern Arizona during this popular event.
The cost of the Mariachi Festival is $20 per vehicle (up to four adults). For more information, visit AZStateParks.com/Patagonia-Lake. Make your camping reservations at 1-877-MY-PARKS or AZStateParks.com.
