
Experience Night in the Sonoran Desert on a Full Moon Hike

PHOENIX – This spring, hikers are invited to experience the beauty of the Sonoran Desert under the glow of a full moon with guided hikes at Lost Dutchman State Park.
Five full moon hikes are scheduled at the park from March through May. The hike will begin with the view of a famous Arizona sunset draping over the Superstition Mountains and end under the light of the full moon.
This hike will cover 1.3 miles of easy trail, featuring some rocky terrain with only a slight elevation gain. Multiple dates are available now through May!
The event costs $10 per person plus standard park admission fees ($7 per vehicle on weekdays and $10 per vehicle on Fridays through Sundays). Limited spots are available and registration is required by calling the park at 480-982-4485. Participants must bring plenty of water and wear closed-toe shoes to hike. Children ages 10 and up are welcome; pets are not permitted.
