Guided Bird Walk at Oracle

Oracle State Park

Sunday, January 25, 2026   9 a.m.

Join Ranger Dylan on a bird walk starting at the Kannally Ranch House and heading down into and through Kannally Wash. We will talk about our different avian friends that visit and/or call Oracle State Park home. Birds we are likely to see are Gambel's quail, Woodhouse's scrub-jay, northern cardinal, and maybe even the family of Harris's hawks that like to hang up by the ranch house. We will also discuss migration patterns and why birds frequent Oracle State Park.

The hike will be held on Sunday, January 25 at 9 a.m. and will be about 1.25 miles with slight elevation changes. Bring your binoculars, hiking poles, water, and best bird book!
