Eggs, Nests, and Happy Hour!

Oracle State Park

April 27, 2018   4:00 p.m.

During the presentation stage of this event with Kathe Anderson, we’ll take a closer look at the remarkable anatomy of an egg, how a baby bird “knows” when to hatch, and what kinds of nest it might find itself in when it emerges. Visitors will also learn about the parents role during nesting in addition to just keeping the eggs warm. After her presentation, Kathe will lead participants on an informal walk around the Oracle State Park grounds to check out some resident nests! Join us for "bring your own and share" happy hour as the sun sets on another beautiful day at Oracle State Park!  Free with park admission; please call for a reservation (520) 896-2425.
