Guest Speaker Presentation is "The Men of Apollo and the
Moon."  It will be about a 25-30 minute presentation with a Q & A to follow.  

7:30 PM AZ-MST Night Sky Viewing Moore Telescope

"The men of Apollo and the Moon" by Kevin Koski, Guest Speaker. Kevin has always been interested in astronomy. He vividly remembers watching the Apollo missions on TV as a child, sparking his lifelong interest in space. In his early 30s, Kevin was FINALLY able to get his first telescope beginning a lifelong passion for astronomy has just taken off since then! "I have since then started doing public outreach programs in order to share my knowledge and experiences and to hopefully spark the interest in others of our beautiful universe."

Speaker program begins at 6:00 pm (AZ-MST), telescope viewing after program in Winslow Homolovi Observatory. The Little Colorado River Valley Astronomy
Club is composed of amateur and professional astronomers who enjoy sharing and exploring the skies. The Little Colorado River Valley Astronomy Club is based in Snowflake, Arizona with members traveling thousands of miles each year to explore the skies. We are dedicated to encouraging, developing, and teaching the hobby of astronomy through hands on exploration, sharing our resources and knowledge. Our partnership in the founding and operation of the WHO brings the general public, school groups and astronomy enthusiasts together for a great time of exploration, discovery and science education.
