Universal Trail Assessment Process Team

Project Description: The Universal Trails Assessment Process (UTAP) provides objective, accurate information about the conditions on a trail or in outdoor environments. The assessment results can help trail users determine whether a trail meets their interests and abilities. The UTAP volunteer team will receive training on UTAP including the use of an assessment machine. Team members will assess trails at Arizona State Parks. Interested team members may be invited to become certified to train others on UTAP.
