Camp Verde, AZ Weather

Rockin' River Ranch is located in the center of the state at an elevation of 3,260 feet above sea level. The area has a temperate climate that averages 5–10 degrees cooler than Phoenix and 10–15 degrees warmer than Flagstaff.

During the winter we get occasional snow that may last through the day. Spring normally brings some winds. We have a monsoon (rainy) season that starts in May and can last through early July. The rains usually come in the late afternoon. If it does rain, it typically stops in a few minutes.

The desert brush and pasture sections of the park are known to come alive with seas of wildflowers in late spring and early summer during years of ample precipitation. The gorgeous wildflowers and variety of cacti are in bloom providing fantastic photo opportunities for park visitors.
