Historic Brewing Company Tasting Event

Join us for an evening at Oracle State Park to taste a Mexican Lager specially brewed to celebrate the historic Kannally Ranch House! This specialty brew is the first in a new partnership between Flagstaff brewer Historic Brewing Company and Arizona State Parks and Trails.

Enjoy a beer tasting, docent-guided tours of the ranch house, live music on the patio and beautiful scenery of the northern Catalina Mountain foothills and the Galiuero Mountains. See the program schedule below for details on the fun activities. Food and cans of the Kannally Ranch House Mexican Lager will be available for purchase.

Attendees will receive a fun can koozie from Historic Brewing Company, custom Kanally Ranch House Mexican Lager stickers, and can enter a drawing for a Flagstaff staycation (must be present to win). The package includes the following:

• A night's stay in the Historic Brewing Company Airbnb in Flagstaff: Prime location in the heart of downtown Flagstaff! Enjoy beautiful views of the peaks all while being walking distance to breweries, cafes, yoga studios, rock climbing gym, and restaurants. This condo sits just above Historic Brewing Company's downtown location with a super friendly staff, over 20 craft beer options on tap, wine, and a full pub menu.
• Historic Brewing Company Taproom and Production Facility Tour: Receive a free brewery tour of our Eastside Production Facility & Taproom. Get a behind the scenes look at what it takes to make some of your favorite brews and enjoy a sampling at the end!
• Guided tour at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park: Journey back to the turn of the century with a docent-guided tour of the 1904 Riordan Mansion in Flagstaff. The Riordan families were pioneers of Flagstaff's early developments, and their unique home is a stunning example of the Arts and Crafts-style architecture.

Program Schedule

4:30-5:30: A guided tours of the historic Kannally Ranch House (limited space; first come first served)
6:00-7:00: Guided nature walk at sunset in the wildlife refuge
7:00-7:30: Raffle drawing (must be present to win)
7:30-8:30: Night Sky Wayfinding program

If you would like a place to sit, we recommend bringing folding chairs, as our patio seating may fill up during the event. This event is free with regular park admission ($7 per vehicle day use fee or display a valid annual Arizona State Parks pass).

Tasting Event at Tap + Bottle
October 25, 2024 from 4-7 p.m.

Join us the evening before on Friday, October 25 at Tap + Bottle North (7254 N Oracle Road, Tucson, Ariz. 85704). We'll celebrate the release and enjoy tastings of our collab brew with Historic Brewing Company, the Kannally Ranch House Mexican Lager, at this local bottle shop.
