Shoreline Cleanup and Windsor Beach Blonde Ale Tasting Event

Lake Havasu State Park

Join us for an afternoon at Lake Havasu State Park to taste a beer specially brewed to celebrate the park! The Windsor Beach Blonde ale is the fourth specialty brew in a partnership between Flagstaff brewer Historic Brewing Company and Arizona State Parks and Trails, and teaming up for this brew: Lake Havasu City brewer College Street Brewing.

Prior to the tasting, volunteer with us for a shoreline cleanup from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We'll pick up litter and remove invasive plants that threaten the local environment. All ages are welcome. Tools and trash pickers will be supplied by the park, but please come prepared with plenty of water, sun protection, and gloves. Park fees are waived for all registered cleanup volunteers. After the cleanup, we'll celebrate on the north beach with FREE tastings of the new Windsor Beach Blonde. Enjoy musical entertainment and enter the raffle drawing for great prizes; food will be available for purchase. This is a family-friendly event; people under 21 may enjoy soda instead of beer tastings. Tasting event proceeds benefit the Kids on the Colorado River; 10% of Windsor Beach Blonde beer sales will be donated to Arizona State Parks and Trails.

In addition to two free tastings and custom Windsor Beach Blonde stickers, adults 21+ can enter to win the following raffle prizes. Each attendee will receive one complimentary raffle ticket; additional tickets will be available for purchase at $5 per ticket or 5 for $20.

Guided tour at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park: Journey back to the turn of the century with a docent-guided tour of the 1904 Riordan Mansion in Flagstaff. The Riordan families were pioneers of Flagstaff's early developments, and their unique home is a stunning example of the Arts and Crafts-style architecture.
