The park will open at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025, due to snowy weather conditions.
Park entry and swim area close one hour prior to closing.
No walk-ins/drop-offs permitted: admission only by vehicle via the entry station. Reservations are not available. Park entry is first-come, first-served.

Join us for an evening at Slide Rock State Park to taste a beer specially brewed to celebrate this state park! The Slide Rock Blonde Coffee Stout specialty brew is the second in a partnership between Flagstaff brewer Historic Brewing Company and Arizona State Parks and Trails. Seating is limited! Your event ticket for $30 per person includes park entry for the event starting at 6:30 p.m. Your ticket includes two samples of the specialty brew, pizza generously donated by Pizzicletta, an interpretive tour of the historical Pendley homestead apple packing shed, and live music by the Sasquatch Fur Company. Additional varieties of beer made by Historic Brewing Company will be available for purchase. This event is open to all ages, but you must be 21+ to sample or purchase the brews. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Slide Rock State Park, a group of dedicated volunteers who assist parks with fundraising, marketing and special projects.

Guided tour at Riordan Mansion State Historic Park: Journey back to the turn of the century with a docent-guided tour of the 1904 Riordan Mansion in Flagstaff. The Riordan families were pioneers of Flagstaff's early developments, and their unique home is a stunning example of the Arts and Crafts-style architecture.
