Star Party at Red Rock State Park

Red Rock State Park

Saturday, March 21, 2026   6:30 p.m.

Telescopes set up under the night sky.

As telescopes of the Astronomers of Verde Valley look overhead into the night sky after sunset, the wonders of the Milky Way will come to life through the eyes of the telescopes. During our event, the night sky will feature a young waxing crescent moon, marking the post-vernal equinox period and providing excellent spring viewing conditions. A rare, significant alignment of six planets will also be in progress: Mercury, Venus, Neptune, Saturn, Uranus, and Jupiter.

Time: 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Please arrive by 6:00 p.m.

Fee:  $16 per person

Registration is required, open from February 25 through March 20. Click here to register and search by "Red Rock State Park."
