Park entry and swim area close one hour prior to closing.
No walk-ins/drop-offs permitted: admission only by vehicle via the entry station. Reservations are not available. Park entry is first-come, first-served.

Great Backyard Bird Count at Slide Rock
Slide Rock State Park
February 15-16, 2025 9 a.m.
The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual community science project by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society to collect data on wild birds. Join our rangers at Slide Rock on Saturday or Sunday at 9 a.m. for a guided walk through the park's birding hot spots, as we contribute to the Great Backyard Bird Count as a group. All levels of birders welcome. BYO bird knowledge and materials.
