Stage 2 fire restrictions in effect; wood and charcoal fires are prohibited. Gas/propane stoves are permitted for cooking only. Smoking is prohibited in the park except within an enclosed vehicle.
The Kannally Ranch House will be closed through June 2025 for facility improvements. Phone lines are currently down. The gift shop is open.

Monsoon season has officially started!
Join us on Saturday, July 5th for a morning hike as we explore Arizona’s monsoon season. This guided hike will highlight how these seasonal rains are transformative to the landscape and bring life to the desert.
We will hike roughly one mile along the Windy Ridge Trail, which has rocky terrain and moderate elevation changes. Meet at the Group Use Area parking lot and be ready to start at 6:30 a.m. to beat the summer heat.
Make sure to bring:
- Plenty of water (bring more than you think you need)
- Sun protection like a hat, sunscreen, and sun protective clothing
- Hiking shoes
This program is free with our regular day use admission or an annual state parks pass.
