Family Campout at Tombstone Courthouse
Tombstone Courthouse State Historic Park
October 31-November 1, 2026
Arizona Family Campout weekends are designed for families with kids who have little or no experience camping. We welcome campers six (6) years of age and older. We will introduce you to fun experiences you can share with your family and inspire you to continue to explore the great outdoors from one of our campgrounds! You will learn how to set up a tent and get an introduction to cooking outside, plus you will get to try some fun activities you can do while camping! No pets allowed.
Territorial history—from lawmen to shootout lore—offers campers a special treat on this campout! Experience an exclusive spooky candlelight tour of the Tombstone Courthouse with Park Manager Curtis, dress up in your Halloween costume for Discover Tombstone's Trunk or Treat event, follow rangers on a historical marker tour, try your hand at archery, and join us in a stewardship activity at the Schieffelin Monument. Registration is required at $90 for a family of 4 and $5 per additional family member. All camping gear and outdoor equipment is provided; just bring food, your sleeping bag, and a sense of adventure! See more info at AZStateParks.com/Family or register at the link below.
