Saturday, June 7th, come on by the park and do a little fishing! In honor of National Boating and Fishing Week, Arizona Game & Fish Department will not require fishing licenses at any state waters or community lakes that day—just get outdoors, spend some quality time with friends and family, and experience the fun of fishing on the Verde River! 

While a fishing license is not needed on June 7, bag limits and other Arizona fishing regulations still apply and must be observed on Free Fishing Day. Children under 10 years old can fish for free all year in Arizona.

Standard state park entry fees, which fund our park operations, still apply.
