Guided Night Life Hike
Red Rock State Park
Friday, July 25, 2025 7:45-9:15 p.m.
The Southwest is home to many mysterious and misunderstood creatures that thrive at night, one of which is the Scorpion! Many people fear scorpions and would prefer to see them dead rather than protected. However, their crucial role in the desert ecosystem and their awe-inspiring ability to glow in the dark are overlooked. This after-hours interpretive program looks to change that perspective and shed a different light on the creatures of the night. Opinions will be changed through education, observation, and discovery while on a guided hike.
