Bio:

A fourth-generation Arizonan, Sally Jackson traces her roots to 1875 in the Verde Valley through the Bristow and Jordan families. Her grandparents, Walter and Ruth Jordan, played an important role in Sedona’s history, and their original family home later became the Sedona Heritage Museum. Growing up surrounded by her family’s heritage, Sally developed a lifelong appreciation for storytelling, history, and preservation. She earned an Associate of Applied Science in Interior Design from Phoenix College and a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communication from Arizona State University. A graduate of Prescott Area Leadership (PAL) and other leadership programs, Sally is passionate about community vitality and mentoring emerging leaders. She currently serves as Development Director for Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott, supporting fundraising, community engagement, and the preservation and appreciation of Arizona history. Sally has also contributed to preservation projects, including One Family’s Closet, a 2012 exhibit at the Sedona Heritage Museum featuring five decades of clothing from her family’s collection, along with preservation workshops, tours, and contributions to the Arizona Memory Project.
