Heritage Fund Test

Heritage Fund Grants

The Heritage Fund was established in 1990 by Arizona's voters to create a dedicated source of funding for the preservation of the state's natural and cultural legacy. The fund receives a portion of proceeds from the Arizona Lottery, ensuring a consistent investment in our history and environment without relying on state taxes. This program is divided between two state agencies, with Arizona State Parks administering grants for historic preservation, non-motorized trails, and the acquisition or development of local and regional parks. The Heritage Fund empowers communities to protect important landmarks, enhance outdoor recreation, and ensure that Arizona's unique heritage is preserved for future generations.

  • Eligible Applicants: Incorporated municipalities, counties, state agencies, tribal governments, and non-profit organizations.
