The last Site Board Meeting was on October 19, 2016.

Arizona Revised Code § 41-519.01 established the Yarnell Hill Memorial Site Board. The primary purpose for the board was  to establish a memorial site honoring the 19 members of the Granite Mountain Hotshot Crew that perished on June 30, 2013 in the Yarnell Hill Fire.
