This past June, Arizona State Parks and Trails Off-Highway Vehicle Division partnered with the Arizona Office of Tourism, Tread Lightly!, the Off-Highway Vehicle Advisory Group, and the Arizona Game and Fish Department to promote the avoidance of sensitive areas to protect wildlife habitat and waters by staying on trails. This State Parks Board approved project was funded by a $200K grant from Arizona State Parks and Trails, which was matched by the Arizona Office of Tourism totaling $400K.
