PHOENIX – Arizona State Parks & Trails is proud to offer FREE entrance to veterans, active duty military, and National Guard on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11, 2022 as a thank you for their service to our country.

“To thank our military and veterans, we would like to invite them to visit one of our more than 30 state parks on November 11,” said Arizona State Parks and Trails Executive Director Bob Broscheid. “These beautiful spaces offer outdoor recreation and a peek into Arizona’s past through museums, interpretive exhibits, and education.”

With state parks located throughout Arizona, there are many opportunities to relax and explore the great outdoors. All year long, Arizona State Parks and Trails offers a discount program for veterans and active duty military.

You must show your military identification for the free entrance on Friday, November 11. This does not include tours at Kartchner Caverns State Park or Riordan Mansion State Historic Park or other fee-based programs.
