Group Volunteers

Each year, we partner with numerous volunteer groups who join us for a day or sometimes a few days of service. Some groups work together as a team to help us accomplish larger projects, while others break into smaller groups and spread out into various areas of the community to support existing households and workshops.

Definition: Volunteer groups are volunteers who come together as members of the same school class, organization or company.

Responsibilities: These groups commit to a full work schedule. They usually live outside the community and have a supervisor/organizer who comes with them to oversee the group.

Group Volunteer Process: The volunteer coordinator handles the initial group application process for groups who will volunteer for a day or longer. Arizona State Parks & Trails requires one contact to be a representative of the group. Members of this group do not complete applications individually. For more information, please contact our volunteer program manager at crichards@azstateparks.gov.
